About Party Wall Notices UK

Practical online tools for homeowners and building owners dealing with the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 in England and Wales.

Who operates the service?

Party Wall Notices UK is operated by Konstruction (UK) Limited, company number 08994748. The business is based in Whitstable, Kent; customer support is available at hello@partywall-notices.co.uk.

The company is not RICS-regulated or RICS-accredited and is not a firm of solicitors. We provide a self-serve notice-generation service and plain-English information, not legal or surveying advice.

What the service does

The service helps building owners across England and Wales work through the early stages of the Party Wall process. The free eligibility checker asks about the proposed works and indicates which statutory questions may be relevant. The notice wizard can then prepare documents for Section 1, Section 3 or Section 6 works from the information supplied by the user.

A generated document is a template, not an individually reviewed determination. The building owner remains responsible for checking the project details, identifying every adjoining owner, choosing the correct notice and serving it correctly. For a complex or disputed project, consider taking independent advice from a party wall surveyor or solicitor.

What happens after a notice?

The notice is the start of the statutory process. An adjoining owner may consent or dissent; if a dispute arises, the parties can appoint surveyors under Section 10. Our surveyor directory provides a way to search coverage by postcode, but listing a surveyor does not appoint or recommend that surveyor for a particular instruction.
